When adding an account to Notion on iOS, use the 1Password integration to easily populate your account password.
To use the 1Password integration, you must have the 1Password app downloaded on your mobile device (grab it here).
Make sure you're logged into your 1Password account and have added your email logins to 1Password. Additionally, we recommend going to Settings > Security > Touch ID and enabling Touch ID within 1Password if Touch ID is not already enabled. This will make it much easier to log into Notion.
- Open Notion and enter your email address. If this is not your first account, follow these steps to add an additional account to Notion.
You can use 1Password to generate your email address if you cannot remember it. Simply tap the 1Password icon at the top-right corner, unlock 1Password (easy to do if you enabled Touch ID as recommended above), and select your email address from the list of saved logins.
- Press Next
- Continue account authentication.
If you are adding an Outlook or Google account, you will be directed through an OAuth process. Tap the 1Password icon at the top-right corner, unlock 1Password (again, easy if you enabled Touch ID), and select your email address again to populate the password.
If you are adding a non-Outlook/non-Gmail account, you will be directed to an IMAP settings screen. Tap the 1Password icon in the Password field, unlock 1Password, and select your email address to populate the password.
